The Breaking of Bread is a
Traditional Service when, we who know the Lord Jesus Christ as
Lord and Saviour come to remember his Death for us. He commanded
us to do this when he rose from the dead. Luke 22:19-20 "Jesus
took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying,
"This is my body given for for you; do this in remembrance
of me." In the same way, after the supper he took the cup,
saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which
is poured out for
you."
We also spend time in Prayer, Praising God through songs of Worship
and
meditating on his word, THE BIBLE. The Breaking of Bread Service
is followed on the 1st Sunday of each month by the Family Service.
This meeting is for all the family and starts at 11:30 finishing
at 12:30, with the chance to chat over a cup of tea/coffee afterwards.
